Hello and welcome to Vestige blog Halloween! I was so excited to see these faux vintage Halloween box fronts from Tim Holtz. I knew they would be perfect for the front of my Halloween journals. I made these with the intention of storing Halloween tags (in the large), and Halloween ATCs (in the small). I really packed them full and still had tags and ATCs left over so I guess I’ll be making more of these soon. 🙂 I used a lot of the Halloween stamps from Character Constructions on the covers and in some of the pages. I love her images and they work so perfectly with all the vintage looking Halloween papers. I don’t have a step out of the process but I do have a lot of pictures. Grab a cup of coffee and peruse!
Thanks for visiting and Happy Halloween!!
Heather

Heather, these are wonderful journals, I am rather partial to Halloween, especially skeletons, so your journals are right up my street! You have packed so much into the inside pages too – lots of spooky fun!
Thanks so much for joining in with us this month at Mini Album Makers. Anne x

Oh Heather!! These journals are wonderful!! I recently purchased the Sizzix pocket traveler’s notebook die, so I think I will make pages to fit that for our VPI clusters. I will sent a journal cover with each journal page I make in case the recipient wants to make a journal. What type of paper would you recommend for the covers (assuming it will be covered with other paper to make it pretty)?
I’ll email you an answer Jan! Thanks for the kind feedback!
