I love the look of old paper. I know I’m not alone in this. Admit it, your heart skips a beat when, as you’re trolling along your favorite flea, you spy the pile. Ahhh, the sepia tones, the faded faces looking out at you from time past, the loopy antique writing. Rusty keys to places likely long gone, tickets to trains you’ve missed eons ago or plays from musty old theaters make you wish for a time machine. I enjoy assembling a still life with all the bits and pieces and just looking at how the tones and edges play against each other. Today I’m sharing a few scenes with you from some of my troves. Let me know what you think in the comments. Enjoy!

Awesome finds and I know exactly what you mean about the heart skipping a beat.
Kindred spirits! 🙂
My heart just skipped a couple of beats. Wow, what an amazing collection of wonderful vintage bits and pieces. Thanks so much for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party. I’m feeling inspired after seeing all your pretties.
Thank you! That is the best compliment I could ever get. 🙂

I have a trove also, much of which I won’t ever use. Will my children pass it to someone who will cherish it? TIme will tell. 🙂
