Hi all! It is finally getting to be that time of year again – Halloween! If you have visited this blog much you will know that it doesn’t have to be this time of year for me to get excited about making Halloween stuff. As I have mentioned before, I recently joined a great group – Paper Traders (click button on the left for more info). This particular swap is something called a toilet paper tube book. I’ve never heard of such a thing but I’m willing to try most anything once, and the theme is Halloween so…!? The deal is: participants each make four sets (set=tube folder and insert card) and send them to the swap host. She will kindly mix them up among the group, bind them into a book of four and send them back to the players. I had a great time using lots of the Halloween stuff I’ve been collecting. The silhouettes on the folder are black cardstock die cut with either hill scene (Impression Obsession) and mini bat (Tim Holtz) on front or witch (Tim Holtz) and cat (Impression Obsession) on back. For the cards the sparkly cemetery is an on the edge die (Tim Holtz). The paper is Lost & Found Halloween (My Mind’s Eye).
I also used some of the new Halloween charms from Tim Holtz which I happened to find at Michael’s (though I bought the last pack). I pre-ordered these months ago but haven’t received any of those. I hope they are shipping in time to use them before Christmas! ;-P
Thanks for visiting!
